Day 2 March 31 Reykjavik & Hot Springs Borgarnes 
This morning we meet our tour guide and depart on aReykjavik city tour exploring some of the highlights of
Iceland’s capital. The Borgarfjorour valley is known as the Saga valley of West Iceland because many importanthistorical events took place there. You get a chance toclimb the Grabrok volcano crater and warm up atDeildartunguhver, Europe's most powerful hot spring,producing 180 litres of nearly boiling water (97°c) persecond! Next we head to Hraunfossar, full of waterfalls thatpour from beneath a kilometre-wide lava field.  We spendthe next two nights at Borgarnes in West Iceland. Thisafternoon includes a lecture about Northern Lights andafter dinner we take a walk into the garden to search forthe Northern Lights followed by a hot cup of chocolate ortea.  Overnight: Borgarnes  
 
Day3-April 01Borgarnes-Borgarnes
Today we explore the Snaellsnes Peninsula which juts out from Iceland’s west coast. A rugged mountain chain runs its length. We travel to the charming fishing town ofStykkishólmur for a lunchtime cruise on the Breidafjördurfjord. Afterwards we can stroll around the shelteredharbour exploring this charming town with its many old
wooden houses. A uniquely Icelandic “treat “awaits you at our next stop, Bjarnarhöfn, where they make Hákarl -delicious fermented shark! On our way back to Reykholtwe stop at Borgarnes where we have the opportunity foran optional visit to the Icelandic Settlement Centermuseum, or to the local geothermal swimming pool. Todayour guide gives us some practical tips of how to photographthe Auroras as part of the Northern Lights Academyprogram. Naturally, once darkness falls, we are out andabout chasing the Northern Lights which is most pleasantwhile soaking in the hotel’s outdoor hot tubs. Overnight:Borgarnes  
 
Day 4 April 02 Borgarnes - Golden Circle &Horses  Selfoss
This morning we travel along the scenic shores of theHvalfjörour fjord, stopping at an Icelandic wool outlet storebefore turning inland to Thingvellir National Park, aUNESCO World Heritage site. After a stop at the park, we
continue to Gullfoss “the golden falls“, a double waterfall that tumbles 34 meters into the Hvítá River. Look out forthe steam from the Geysir geothermal fields as we arrive.Here there is a variety of hot springs and bubbling pools with the original geyser now dormant but Strokkur „theChurn“ very much still active with eruptions every 5-10minutes. When we get to Geysir, we visit the restaurantand taste freshly baked hot spring bread served withdelicious Icelandic butter, geothermally boiled eggs, andlocal herring. This is best served with a small glass of icecold (nearly frozen) Geysir Schnapps. This afternoon, welearn about the history of the hardy Icelandic horse and thespecial qualities they possess. We also visit a geothermalgreenhouse, before reaching our accommodation in SouthIceland. Tonight, we step into the darkness and search forthe elusive Northern Lights, which are best enjoyed from the comfort of the hot tub in the garden of the hotel amidstthe peace and stillness of rural Iceland. Overnight: Selfoss  
 
Day5 April 03Selfoss-Black Lava Beach -Kirkjubajarklaustur  
Hella - Eyjafjallajökull - Kirkjubaejarklaustur. Today wetravel along the South coast. Our first stop is at theEyjafjallajökull Information Centre where we learn abouthow people live next to a glacier and an active volcanoand the famous eruption of 2010. Further east we visitone of Iceland's finest folk museums. This museumcontains an outstanding collection of farm and domesticartefacts typical of Iceland’s past as well as turf-builthouses. Nearby is the waterfall of Skógafoss whichstands 60 meters tall and is one of the most impressivewaterfalls in Iceland. This afternoon we take a stroll alongblack lava beach and the bird cliffs at Reynisfjara beachin South Iceland. We spend the next 2 nights nearKirkjubæjarklaustur in the Vatnajökull National Parkregion, located in complete darkness and ideal forNorthern Lights search.  Overnight: Kirkjubajarklaustur  
 
Day 6 April 04- Vatnajökull NPKirkjubaejarklaustur - Jökulsárlón-Kirkjubaejarklaustur 
Today's program is all about glaciers, ice and icebergs.This morning we travel to Jökulsárlón glacial lagoonwhich is filled with floating icebergs. Exploring thisextraordinary site we keep an eye out for seals swimmingin the freezing Arctic waters. We then can walk along theblack sandy beach where some large icebergs havegotten stranded. This afternoon we visit the tiny turfchurch in the town of Hof before heading to the NationalPark. The Vatnajökull National Park covers about 12,000square kilometres and is the largest National Park inEurope. Here we find Iceland’s highest mountains, analpine environment, and Europe's largest glacier whichthe park is named after.  Tonight we enjoy a moviepresentation about the Northern Lights as a part of theNorthern Lights Academy program before hopefullyseeing the Northern Lights shimmering and dancingacross the night sky. Overnight: Kirkjubajarklaustur  
 
Day 7 April 05 - : Kirkjubajarklaustur - LavaFields & Lagoon-Reykjavik
Kirkjubaejarklaustur - Vik - Reykjavík. This morning wedepart Kirkjubæjarklaustur and head across the Laki lavafield to the village of Vik where we make a photo stop. Wetake a stroll on the black lava beach and along the birdcliffs at Reynisfjara beach in South Iceland, Further westwe reach the high but narrow Seljalandsfoss waterfallwhich plunges over the mountain. Those wishing to get abit closer can take a trail that goes behind the falling waterbut be prepared to get wet! In the afternoon we return toReykjavik where we have a couple of hours to exploreIceland's capital on our own, visit museums, do someshopping or simply rest after all this touring. This eveningwe head to the famous Blue Lagoon for a relaxing soak,.Around midnight we reach Reykjavík for one last night.Overnight: Reykjavik 
 
Day April 06  Rekyjavik - Manila
Today our Northern Lights Icelandic experience comesto an end with included bus transfer to Keflavik Airport. .
